After taking over the account and building up Google Ads from scratch, within weeks time we managed to achieve high 10+ ROAS doubling the revenue generated.

After cleaning up some of the low-hanging fruit in the account, our first major initiative was to rebuild branded search campaign. The current campaign was poorly organized, utilized inefficient search terms, and were missing many valuable brand-based keywords. We started by reviewing their entire brand to find valuable brand keywords we could add to our search campaign. We then created new set of copy for each maximizing ad relevance and quality.

Next big thing was setting up their product feed in Google Merchant Center. We created regular shopping campaign using manual bidding to kick start the shopping campaign and get first conversions. After we hit level of getting 50-100 conversions per month the plan is to switch this campaign over to Smart Shopping one using automated bidding strategies and AI to scale it further.

Lastly, we have created all relevant retargeting audiences (website visitors, cart abandoners etc.) within specific time frames and created display retargeting campaigns.

After tackling a few quick wins we were able to instantly move the needle on all key metrics. Within the first weeks, we had completely rebuilt their Google Ads account and that’s when performance really started to take off getting ROAS of 10+ and 5 figure revenue consistently having months with ROAS as high as 20+. To put this a bit into perspective, client’s main advertising channel is Facebook ads and using Google Ads we are getting approximately same revenue while using 1/3 of the FB ad spend with 4x higher ROAS.
